Terry S. Thomas is Chief Growth Officer of Flowers Foods, one of the largest producers of packaged bakery foods in the United States with 2022 sales of $4.8 billion. Flowers operates bakeries across the country that produce a wide range of bakery products.
In this role, Thomas is responsible for leading and managing growth initiatives, product development and innovation, marketing, and customer partnerships.
Thomas has extensive experience working globally in the consumer goods industry, most recently as Global Chief Customer Officer at Unilever.
Before joining Unilever, Thomas worked at PepsiCo for 13 years, serving as vice president and general manager of various business channels, and held management positions at Coca-Cola, Clorox, and Procter & Gamble.
From 2020 to 2023, Thomas served on the Flowers Foods board of directors.
Thomas serves on the Board of Directors for McCormick & Company.
Thomas holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Northwestern University and an Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
