Terri Hines joined FOX Sports as Executive Vice President, Communications in December 2016. A creative marketer, storyteller, and vision-driven executive, she serves as FOX Sports’ chief spokesperson and is responsible for leading the development and execution of public relations, brand communications and social responsibility strategies for the #1 brand in live sports entertainment.
Hines joined FOX Sports following 10 successful years at NIKE, Inc., where she served in leadership roles including Vice President, Global Communications for Converse. She joined Nike in 2007 as Director, Global Communications & Entertainment for the Jordan Brand, named after the dynamic legacy, vision and direct involvement of NBA legend Michael Jordan.
A native of Washington DC, Hines is a public speaker and has served as a guest lecturer at a number of colleges and universities including her alma mater, Florida A&M University; has been honored by numerous publications and organizations; and served as a judge for several industry and scholarship awards. Passionate about culture and the arts, she served as an associate producer for the award-winning feature documentary, “A Ballerina’s Tale” based on the story of American Ballet Theatre principal dancer Misty Copeland.
