Tchernavia Rocker is Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for Harley-Davidson, Inc. In this role, she is a member of the executive leadership team as well as the company representative and advisor to the HR Committee of the Harley-Davidson Inc. Board of Directors.

 

Rocker is responsible for crafting the strategic direction and leading the execution of the organization’s workforce strategy, specifically in the areas of organizational effectiveness, employee value proposition and experience, succession planning, talent management, organizational and performance management, leadership development, compensation and benefits, labor relations and global inclusion.

 

Rocker oversees a team of approximately 200 human resources professionals across the globe. During the last 17 years, she has served Harley-Davidson in various HR leadership roles responsible for business unit HR functions.

 

Rocker currently serves on the Board of Directors for Girl Scouts of Southeast Wisconsin and the Marcus Center for Performing Arts and is a member of the HR Policy Institute, the Society for Human Resource Management and the National Black MBA Association.

 

Rocker holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama Huntsville and a Master’s in Business Administration from Alabama A&M University.
