Steven H. Wright is Senior VP General Counsel and at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, one of 12 regional Federal Reserve banks which comprise the Central Bank of the United States. He leads the Enterprise Resources Division, which includes the Legal, Privacy, Law Enforcement, Real Estate Services Group, and the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion departments. In addition, he is a member of the bank’s Executive Committee.

The legal department is engaged in several significant Federal Reserve projects, including FedNow, Money Market Mutual Fund Liquidity Facility, Main Street Loan Program, and the Hamilton, the Central Bank Digital Coin Project. In addition, he was the Executive Partner for Holland Knight’s Boston Office focused on business law.

Wright’s nonprofit board affiliations include Atrius Health, and the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce. He is a former director of SBLI Mutual Insurance Company and a member of the American College of Corporate Directors and NACD.

He holds a law degree from Boston College Law School and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from East Carolina University. He is a member of the bar in Massachusetts, New York, and New Jersey.
