Stacy Brown-Philpot is Chief Executive Officer of TaskRabbit. Prior to this role, Brown-Philpot served as the Chief Operating Officer before taking over the leadership role at this company. Brown-Philpot’s current position makes her one of the most powerful Black executives in Silicon Valley. Previously, Brown-Philpot was Entrepreneur-In- Residence at Google Ventures, lending strategic expertise to the firm’s portfolio companies. Prior to that, Brown-Philpot led global operations for Google’s flagship products, including Search, Chrome, and Google+.
Brown-Philpot founded the Black Googler Network, a seminal component of diversification initiatives at Google and the larger technology industry. Brown-Philpot was recognized by Fortune Magazine in its “Fortune’s 2015 40 Under 40.”
Brown-Philpot holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics, magna cum laude, from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University.
