Sonya McCullum Roberts is President, Growth & New Ventures and Strategic Pricing, Cargill Proteins for Cargill. Proteins markets, sales, produces, packages, and ships a variety of protein products in North America and globally for Beef into the Retail, Food Service and Ingredients channels.

In this role, Roberts is responsible for leading the development of the business strategy as well as identifying and pursuing long-term growth opportunities
in support of that business strategy. In addition, Roberts is responsible for leading the vision and implementation of Strategic Pricing across Cargill’s North America Protein businesses.

Prior to this current role, Roberts was the Managing Director for the Poultry business within Cargill Value Added Proteins (CVAP).

Prior to Cargill, Roberts worked at ConocoPhillips, a large integrated energy company, for 19 years.

Roberts is currently a board member of The BrandLab (TBL), YWCA of Minneapolis, and Catallia Foods and is an active member of the Executive Leadership Council. She has also been a board member and board president for Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Anchorage.

Roberts holds a Bachelor of Finance degree from the University of North Texas.
