Singleton B. McAllister is a Washington, D.C. based attorney at Husch Blackwell LLP where she represents companies and trade associations across industries in government relations matters related to international trade, transportation, energy and healthcare.
McAllister has been a leader in governmental relations and public policy law for more than 30 years and has held several senior positions with the U.S. House of Representatives, including serving as senior counsel to the House Committee on the Budget.
McAllister was appointed by former President Clinton as General Counsel to the U.S. Agency for International Development, where she served as the Chief legal counsel of over 72 global U.S. missions.
McAllister was appointed by the Governor of Virginia as the Secretary of the Commonwealth’s State Board of Elections in 2015.
McAllister holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Maryland and a J.D. from Howard University School of Law.
