Sheryl Battles serves as Vice President, Global Diversity, Inclusion and Engagement for Pitney Bowes.

In this role, Sheryl leads the company’s strategies, operations and storytelling at the intersection of diversity, inclusion, and employee engagement to help create a high-performance culture. This role combines her extensive communications expertise, deep understanding of business strategy, strength in analytics and passion for creating inclusive experiences. She also co-leads a multi-functional team exploring the future of work.

Sheryl serves on the board of Elon University, School of Communications, Advisory Board; Co-Chair of the Page Society’s DEI Advisory Board; Greenwich Hospital; the National Board of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She is a member of the Stanford University Alumni Association and Stanford National Black Alumni Association.

Sheryl has received numerous honors, a few of which include: 2022 Diversity Leaders Award from Profiles in Diversity; Mother of the Year, Stamford Norwalk Chapter of Jack & Jill of America, and the Public Relations Society of America’s D. Parke Gibson Award.

Sheryl graduated from Stanford University with a degree in Human Biology.
