Shawn M. Wright is a Partner in the White Collar Criminal Defense & Investigation group at Blank Rome LLP, co-chair of the Litigation Department, and co-chair of the Washington, D.C., office.
Shawn concentrates on white-collar criminal litigation, with a focus on violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, criminal antitrust, public corruption, and procurement fraud matters.
Shawn represents corporations, boards of directors, and corporate executives in internal investigations and litigation before federal district courts. She counsels clients on the creation, enhancement, integration, and implementation of compliance programs.
Shawn has experience representing charitable organizations on a variety of litigation, governance, and compliance matters, including board governance practices and policies.
Shawn is an Independent Director for the National Capital Bank of Washington, and she is on the Board of Directors of D.C. Legal Aid Society, The Economic Club of Washington, and Chair of the Board of Directors for My Sister’s Place. She serves as a Commissioner for the Maryland State Racing Commission, appointed by Governor Wes Moore.
Shawn earned her J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law, and her B.A., cum laude, from Howard University.
