Seun Salami is Chief Financial Officer of Nuveen and a member of the firm’s Executive Leadership Team.
In this role, Salami leads the finance organization at Nuveen, and previously served as the CFO (interim) for the firm’s parent company, TIAA.
Salami joined TIAA, as corporate controller, and later served as both TIAA’s Chief Accounting Officer and Principal Financial Officer of TIAA Real Estate Account.
Salami joined TIAA/Nuveen from Jones Lang LaSalle Inc (JLL), a Fortune 500 global real estate company. Before JLL, he was at Deloitte serving Fortune 500 clients.
Salami is a board member of CoreTrust, a Blackstone Company, and Business Council for International Understanding (BCIU).
Salami graduated with a B.S. degree in Management and Accountancy from Obafemi Awolowo University, a Master’s degree in Financial Economics from Ohio University, and an Executive Management Certificate from Columbia Business School.
