Scott Taylor is NortonLifeLock’s Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary reporting to the CEO. In addition to serving on the executive team and managing NortonLifeLock’s global legal function, he manages NortonLifeLock’s government affairs, public policy, corporate responsibility, philanthropy and ethics and compliance functions.
Before joining Symantec, Taylor served as Chief Administrative Officer, Senior Vice President, and General Counsel of Phoenix Technologies Ltd., managing all legal, human resources, facilities and IT functions worldwide. Before that, he was Vice President and General Counsel of Narus, Inc.
Taylor is currently a director on the corporate board of Piper Jaffray, is a director on the corporate board of Digicert Inc., and serves on the Board of Trustees of Menlo School.
Taylor holds a Juris Doctorate from George Washington University, and a Bachelor’s degree from Stanford University. He began his legal career as a corporate attorney with a San Francisco-based law firm.
