Sabastian is a member of the executive leadership team reporting to Salesforce Chair and CEO Marc Benioff and a strategic advisor to the company and its board of directors.
In his role, Sabastian leads the global legal and corporate affairs organization and various cross-functional initiatives. This includes legal affairs, government affairs and public policy, public affairs and strategic relations, and the office of ethical and humane use, overseeing the company’s commitment to responsible and ethical AI innovation by implementing policies that put trust at the forefront.
Sabastian is a member of the Aspen Institute’s Business & Society Board of Advisors and a member of the advisory board for the John L. Weinberg Center for Corporate Governance.
Sabastian earned his law degree from Harvard Law School, where he co-founded the Harvard Association of Law and Business, and holds undergraduate degrees in Economics, Finance, and Decision and Information Sciences from the University of Maryland.
