Ruth Clements is the Vice President & General Manager of the Infectious Disease and Immunology franchise at Quest Diagnostics, the world’s leading provider of diagnostic information services. The company annually serves one in three adult Americans and half the physicians and hospitals in the United States.
In her role, Clements has been instrumental in the COVID-19 response for Quest Diagnostics. She is also a leader in the company’s Quest for Health Equity initiative, a philanthropic effort with the Quest Foundation backed with over $100 million in financial and testing resources to address and reduce health disparities in underserved communities.
Clements has been a catalyst for change throughout her career, while always keeping the patient at the center of everything she does.
Prior to Quest, Clements served in various leadership positions within the pharmaceutical industry at Novartis, Bayer, Acorda, Organon and Allergan.
Clements serves on the Advisory board for Her New Standard, a team of organizational leaders, PhDs, and leadership consultants offering coaching & training programs to help women leaders rise in today’s competitive world and make their mark.
Clements holds an MSc in Pharmacy from University of Utrecht (The Netherlands).
