Rosetta E. Ellis is Principal Counsel at ESPN, Inc., the leading multinational, multimedia sports entertainment company with approximately 8,000 employees worldwide.
In this role, Ellis is responsible for representing ESPN in labor and employment law matters across its more than 50 business assets, and also serves as the lead attorney for ESPN’s annual ESPY Awards show and boxing sport category, which includes boxing and all other strength-related sports, such as wrestling, weightlifting and mixed martial arts.
Prior to joining ESPN, Ellis led the labor and employment law practice for Sun Chemical Corporation where she had sole legal responsibility for representing the company in domestic and international labor and employment matters, and served four years as Chairperson of its Global Compliance Committee.
Ellis is a military veteran who previously served in the United States Army, during which she was stationed in Germany, Iraq and Saudi Arabia.
Ellis holds a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Business Administration from Seton Hall University, and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Virginia School of Law.
