Rose McKinney-James is Managing Principal of Energy Works, LLC. In this role, McKinney-
James’ firm provides extensive business consulting and advocacy services. Also, she is Managing Principal of McKinney-James & Associates. McKinney-James has held a number of leadership positions including: former President and CEO for the Corporation for Solar Technology and Renewable Resources, (CSTRR) and a former Commissioner with the Nevada Public Service Commission.
McKinney-James serves on a number of community boards. In addition, McKinney-Jamesvolunteers on the Board of Three Square and is also a member of the International Women’s Forum.
In 2013, McKinney-James was selected to serve as an Inaugural Ambassador for the U.S. DOE C3E initiative, supporting increased participation by women in the clean energy sector. McKinney-James is Chair of Nevada Partners, a nationally recognized workforce development agency.
McKinney-James holds a Bachelor of Arts from Olivet College and a Juris Doctor from the Antioch School of Law.
