Rosanna M. Durruthy is Chief Diversity Officer for Cigna Corporation.
In this role, Durruthy develops and executes the enterprise diversity and inclusion strategy, enabling business growth and supporting the company’s mission to help improve the health, well-being and sense of security of Cigna’s customers.
Durruthy collaborates in the design and execution of integrated talent management strategies that drive employee engagement and retention, inclusive and culturally competent partnerships in supplier and health care provider relations, and impactful strategic investments in emerging communities.
Under Durruthy’s leadership, Cigna has introduced nine colleague resource groups (CRGs), supported by more than 3,000 employees, innovate products and services that are culturally relevant and appropriate in meeting the needs of emerging, influential consumers of health services.
Prior to Cigna, Durruthy led an organizational consulting practice designed to accelerate diverse emerging leaders and next generation executives in mastering fit and influence, for sustained leadership effectiveness.
Durruthy serves on the board of the PhD Project, and the Human Rights Campaign Business Advisory Council.
Durruthy attended Harvard College.
