Rosalind G. Brewer is the Group President and Chief Operating Officer for Starbucks Corporation. With more than 25,000 stores around the globe, Starbucks is the premier roaster and retailer of specialty coffee in the world.
In this role, Brewer serves as a member of Starbucks’ senior leadership team, and on the Starbucks Board of Directors.
As Group President and Chief Operating Officer, Brewer leads the company’s operating businesses across the Americas (Canada, U.S. and Latin America), as well as the global functions of supply chain, product innovation and store development organizations.
Formerly the President and Chief Executive Officer of Sam’s Club, Brewer has more than 30 years of management experience and more than 10 years of experience leading multinational retailers. She joined Walmart as Regional Vice President.
Brewer is Chair of the Board of Trustees for Spelman College.
Brewer also serves on the Board of Directors for Amazon.
Brewer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Spelman College.
