Ronnie S. Hawkins is Emerging Markets Partner of Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP), an infrastructure focused private equity firm.
In this role, Hawkins focuses on investment activity in Latin America for GIP and GIP Emerging Markets.
Prior to joining GIP, Hawkins served as a Managing Director at EIG Global Energy Partners, as well as Harbour Energy. Prior to joining EIG in 2014, Hawkins was Executive Vice President of GE where he led GE Energy’s Global Business Development activities from 2009 through 2013.
Previously, Hawkins spent 19 years as a senior member of the energy investment banking departments at Credit Suisse and Citigroup.
Hawkins holds a double Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Latin American Studies from the Honors Collegium of the University of California at Los Angeles and studied at the Catholic University of Chile.
