Ron Ford serves as Bath & Body Works’ Chief Stores Officer and has been with the brand for nearly two decades. He is responsible for establishing and leading the selling strategy, tools, training and process for the company’s 55,000 associates across 1,750+ U.S. and Canada store locations.
Ford has worked in retail sales for 30+ years and has built a successful career as a trusted and values-based leader. He joined Bath & Body Works in 2003 as a regional sales manager and earned progressively elevated roles before being promoted into his current role. Since that time, sales have grown more than 5% annually under Ford’s leadership, which included the unprecedented shutdown and reopening of the entire store fleet in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Earlier in his career, he held various sales and field leadership roles for Sears, Roebuck and Co. and Gap, Inc. He attended Prairie View A&M University and is a graduate of University of South Florida. He serves on the board of directors for Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Central Ohio and on the advisory board for Child Inc. in Austin, Texas.
