Roderick A. Palmore is Senior Counsel for Prior to his current role, Palmore served as Executive Vice President, General Counsel, Chief Compliance and Risk Management Officer, and Secretary for General Mills, Inc.
In this role, Palmore was responsible for the company’s worldwide legal activities, corporate ethics, compliance, and corporate security.
Palmore authored “A Call to Action, Diversity in the Legal Profession,” urging general counsel to drive diversity by demanding results in law firms.
The initiative became the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity, which Palmore chairs. Palmore received the “Corporate Exemplar Award” from the National Legal Aid & Defender Association in 2007and the “Spirit of Excellence Award” from the American Bar Association Commission on Racial and Ethnic Diversity in 2006.
Palmore holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Yale University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Chicago Law School.
