Robin Dunson is Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel of Segra, one of the largest fiber infrastructure bandwidth companies in the U.S., headquartered in Charlotte, N.C. As a member of Segra’s executive management team, Dunson is responsible for providing counsel to the CEO and senior leadership on all legal matters affecting Segra and its subsidiaries, including corporate governance, commercial transactions, employment, regulatory, real estate and litigation.
In her prior role, Dunson was Associate General Counsel – Legal Operations at Cox Enterprises, Inc., a privately held global automotive and telecommunications company, in Atlanta, Georgia. Dunson has also served as Assistant General Counsel of Marketing, Sales and Product at Cox Communications, Inc., Counsel at SBC/Ameritech (now AT&T), Attorney at AT&T Corporation and corporate associate at the law firm of Jones, Day.
Dunson currently serves on the board of the Trust for Public Land Georgia and previously on the boards of the Emma Bowen Foundation, the YWCA of Greater Atlanta, and Dress for Success Atlanta.
Dunson received her Juris Doctorate degree from Harvard Law School and undergraduate degree with honors from Bradley University. Dunson also completed Harvard Business School Cable Executive Management program.
