Rob Kirkland serves as President at Sysco St. Louis, a multinational corporation involved in marketing and distributing food products to restaurants, healthcare and education facilities, and hospitality businesses.
In this role, Kirkland is responsible for leading a 280+ employee, $330M sales operation in the twentieth largest metropolitan area in the country.
Prior to joining Sysco, Kirkland held various leadership positions with PepsiCo’s beverage (PBG) and food (Frito-Lay) divisions. Kirkland started his professional career as a Second Lieutenant in the Medical Service Corps, US Army before rising to the rank of Captain.
Kirkland currently serves on the Board of Directors for Jazz St. Louis and Nine Network (PBS) and is an active member of the St. Louis Regional Business Council and Executive Leadership Council.
Kirkland holds an Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Carey School of Business, Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD and a Bachelor of Science, Economics from Hampton University, Hampton, VA.
