Rejji P. Hayes is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of CMS Energy and its principal subsidiary, Consumers Energy.
Hayes is responsible for treasury, tax, investor relations, accounting, financial planning & analysis, internal controls and compliance and mergers & acquisitions. Hayes also serves as executive sponsor of the Minority Advisory Panel, one of CMS Energy’s largest employee resource groups.
Prior to CMS Energy, Hayes served as Chief Financial officer for ITC Holdings Corp. In this role, Hayes was responsible for the company’s accounting, tax, mergers & acquisitions, internal audit, investor relations, treasury, financial planning and analysis, management reporting and risk management functions.
Hayes serves on the boards of the Detroit Zoological Society, the Cranbrook Educational Community, and the Detroit Regional Chamber.
Hayes earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor’s degree from Amherst College.
