Reggie Hedgebeth is Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Marathon Oil Corporation, a petroleum and natural gas exploration and production company. He joined the Company in April 2017.
Prior to joining Marathon Oil, Hedgebeth served as general counsel, corporate secretary and chief compliance officer for Spectra Energy Corp and general counsel for Spectra Energy Partners, LP.
Previously, he served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary with Circuit City Stores, Inc., and Vice President of legal for The Home Depot, Inc.
He began his legal career as an associate at King and Spalding, LLP and prior to law school held various finance and commercial real estate positions at GE Capital.
Hedgebeth serves on the boards of the Greater Houston Partnership, Brink’s Inc. and Theatre Under the Stars, and is on the external advisory committee for the Schreyer Honors College at Penn State University. Hedgebeth is also an Investment Committee Member with Memorial Hermann Health System.
Hedgebeth earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Penn State University, and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Harvard Law School.
