Racquel Oden is Head of Wealth and Personal Banking for HSBC USA.
In this role, Oden oversees the bank’s wealth management, global private banking and retail businesses in the US. Based in New York, Oden will report to Michael Roberts, CEO, US and Americas, and Juan Parma, Head of Wealth and Personal Banking Americas.
Oden joins HSBC from JPMorgan Chase, where she most recently served as Head of Network Expansion for Consumer Banking. She previously led National Sales and the Northeast Division for both consumer banking and wealth management.
Before JPMorgan Chase, Oden held several roles at Merrill Lynch, including Head of Advisor Strategy, Head of Global Product Strategy, and Market Executive for the firm’s flagship New York Fifth Avenue Market, which serves high-net-worth individuals and institutions.
Oden serves as Chair of the Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF), the nation’s largest organization exclusively representing the Black College Community. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Apollo Theater and The New York City Police Foundation.
Oden received an MBA from Hampton University and a B.A. degree in Political Science from James Madison University.
