Phyllis S. Anderson served as Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for Sentara Healthcare.
Prior to Sentara, Phyllis was Senior Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer for Express Scripts.
In this role, Phyllis was responsible for the company’s marketing and corporate communications functions, including brand development, creative services, division marketing, events and public relations.
Phyllis brings a highly successful career as a Chief Marketing Officer with P&L responsibility. She has worked in diverse, Fortune 50 companies across B2B, B2C, and B2B2C, developing her unique ability to understand both the consumer and business perspectives.
Phyllis served on the Boards of the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis; and the Center of Creative Arts (COCA), St. Louis’ largest multidisciplinary arts institution.
Phyllis holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Spelman College and an MBA from Clark Atlanta University.
