Obed Louissaint is Executive Vice President & Chief People Officer, Transformation for Aptiv.
In this role, Louissaint oversees the end-to-end people human resource function. He harnesses the power of Aptiv’s people resources to enable Aptiv to accelerate its transformation into a leading global technology company that develops safer, greener, and more connected solutions to enable the future of mobility.
Most recently, Louissaint was Senior Vice President of transformation and culture at IBM. In this role, he focused on creating a growth & inclusive culture through leadership, learning, diversity & inclusion, talent acquisition, talent management, employee experience and transformation for IBM.
Louissaint held several positions to enable a more inclusive economy through work on the U.S. Department of Labor Advisory Committee on Apprenticeship, and works closely with numerous public and private organizations to expand pathways for underserved constituencies into family sustaining careers.
Louissaint serves as Board Member and previous Chair to the National Action Council for Minorities in Engineering (NACME) and is a member of the Executive Leadership Council (ELC).
