Nicole Washington is an Investment Funds Partner in the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP, where she is a key member of the Firm’s Investment Funds Group.
Washington regularly represents domestic and international sponsors on forming, marketing and operating private investment funds with capital commitments ranging from several hundred million to $10+ billion dollars. She is highly experienced advising funds across numerous strategies and regularly advises private funds on a range of complex business transactions in the secondary market, including fund restructurings and other GP led transactions.
Washington is ranked as a leading investment funds lawyer by numerous publications, most recently, she was named as one of Crain’s New York Business’ 2022 Notable Women in Law.
In 2021, she was profiled as one of Law360’s Fund Formation MVPs, one of the most coveted legal awards that recognizes lawyers for their involvement in record-breaking deals.
