Nicole Jones is Executive Vice President and General Counsel for Cigna Corporation.
In this role, Jones is responsible for legal, compliance and regulatory matters domestically and abroad as well as public policy and government affairs for the company.
Most recently, Jones served as Vice President and General Counsel for Lincoln Financial Group. Prior to this, she worked at Cigna in the role of Deputy General Counsel, Chief Counsel of Domestic Health Service, Securities and Investment Law, and Corporate Secretary. She also served as Chief Counsel – Securities at International Paper Company, where she had responsibilities for disclosure issues throughout the company and provided legal support for executive compensation, treasury matters and corporate governance.
Prior to that, she served as Vice President, Corporate and Securities Law, for MCI, where she worked closely with the Finance and Investor Relations departments in reviewing and producing all securities law filings, earnings releases and other disclosures.
Jones previously served as a Senior Associate at Davis Polk & Wardwell in New York, where she was engaged in all aspects of mergers and acquisitions
and securities transactions.
Jones holds a B.A. from Fordham University and a J.D. from New York University.
