Nichole Barnes Marshall serves as Vice President and Chief Diversity Officer for L Brands, the world-renowned retailer of iconic brands specializing in lingerie, personal care and beauty products, apparel and accessories.
In this role, she leads the development and implementation of inclusion and diversity strategies for L Brands’ 88,000 associates worldwide. Nichole has a robust background with 20 years of expertise in Diversity and Inclusion leadership, Talent Acquisition and Community Relations. Before joining L Brands, Nichole was Global Head of Diversity and Inclusion for Aon plc, where she established a framework of policy and practices that advanced Aon’s recognition as a top company for diversity and inclusion.
Throughout the years, Nichole has been actively engaged in the community and has played a leadership role in several important civic and professional organizations, including Columbus Urban League, United Way of Central Ohio, Leadership Columbus, Leadership Greater Chicago, The Executives’ Club of Chicago, The Chicago Sinfonietta, The National Association of African Americans in Human Resources (NAAAHR) and Chicago United.
Nichole is a graduate of Western Illinois University with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Sociology.
