Nicholas E. Brathwaite is a Partner at Celesta Capital, a venture capital firm headquartered in Menlo Park, California, which he helped found in 2013.
Celesta invests in high-growth technology companies in both the United States and abroad.
Prior to Celesta, Nic co-founded Riverwood Capital, a private equity firm focused on investments in high growth technology companies.
Prior to pursuing his current role as a technology investor, Brathwaite served as the chief technology officer at Flextronics, where he oversaw the launch and growth of several of its largest business units.
Brathwaite previously served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Aptina Imaging and currently serves on the board of directors of several of Celesta’s portfolio companies.
Brathwaite holds a master’s degree in polymer science engineering from the University of Waterloo, Canada, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Chemistry from McMaster University, Canada.
