Nicholas E. Brathwaite is the Founder and Managing Partner of Celesta Capital, a leading venture capital firm that invests in exceptional entrepreneurs and disruptive technologies.
Brathwaite was a member of the founding team of nCHIP Inc., a venture capital funded startup in Silicon Valley. After nCHIP was acquired by Flextronics in 1995, Nic became the Chief Technology Officer of Flextronics.
As a technologist, Brathwaite has several patented inventions and was a pioneer in the development of low-cost cell phones for developing countries and the development of software solutions for integrating product design with supply chain and manufacturing systems.
Brathwaite obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from McMaster University, his Master of Science degree from The University of Waterloo in Canada and in 2014 was awarded an honorary Doctor of Science by the University of the West Indies.
