Nichelle Maynard-Elliott served as Executive Director, Mergers & Acquisitions for Praxair, Inc. from 2011 to June 2019. Nichelle joined Praxair in 2003 as Senior Counsel responsible for M&A and commercial transactions for Praxair’s U.S. packaged gases and healthcare businesses. She served as Assistant General Counsel of Praxair from 2007 to 2011 and transitioned to her former role of Executive Director, M&A in 2011.
Nichelle is a corporate dealmaker with 25+ years of financial and legal experience in M&A, business development and strategic partnerships at Fortune 300 multinational corporation and top-ranked international/boutique law firms. Demonstrated leadership in management of multi-functional teams and influence on executive decision-making. Identifies, structures, negotiates and executes complex deals to drive revenue growth. Expertise ranges from early stage private/venture-backed start-ups to mid-sized/mature global companies.
Nichelle holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Brown University and JD from Columbia Law School.
