Murielle Beene is Senior Vice President and Chief Health Informatics Officer at Trinity Health.

In this role, Beene is responsible for strategic and visionary leadership communicating complex trends to influence change improving the impact of informatics on the systems of care. She advances activities of health informatics and analytics in support efficiency and effectiveness of health care operations with the primary goal of advancing evidence-based health practice through data, information and dissemination of knowledge and wisdom.

Beene has over 25 years of health informatics and analytics experience in various positions. She spent 10 years serving as Chief Nursing Informatics Officer at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

Beene maintains certifications in Project Management from the Project Management Institute (PMP), Nursing Informatics from American Nursing Credentialing Center (NI-BC), Fellow of the American Medical Informatics Association (FAMIA) and the American Academy of Nursing (FAAN).

Beene is a registered nurse and holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree, a Master of Science in Public Health from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and a Master of Nursing Informatics degree from the University of Maryland and a Master of Business Administration.
