Moy Ogilvie is the Hartford Office Managing Partner at McCarter & English and serves as Diversity & Inclusion Partner at the firm, where she coordinates and implements the firm’s initiatives designed to enhance recruitment, development, promotion, and retention of women and diverse lawyers.

In addition, Ogilvie chairs the McCarter & English Social Justice Project, which was created in 2020 to advance the firm’s far-reaching initiatives to dismantle structural racism and combat the impact of racial injustice in our communities.

Ogilvie focuses her legal practice on product liability, toxic tort, and pharmaceutical matters, and handles a diverse array of business litigation matters, in state and federal courts. Additionally, she regularly handles pro bono matters for Lawyers for Children America and other organizations.

Active in the community, Ogilvie was recently appointed by Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont to serve on the Connecticut Criminal Justice Commission and sits on the Board of Directors for Connecticut Bar Foundation, Lawyers Collaborative for Diversity, and the Hartford Youth Scholars.

Ogilvie earned her J.D. from the Boston University School of Law and her B.A. from Bowdoin College.
