Monique Lanaux serves as General Vice President and Chief Talent and Diversity Officer for The Albertsons Companies.
In this role, Monique aligns HR strategy with business goals and delivering tangible results from large cost savings, to employee retention and engagement. Versed in directing all HR functions including policy design, recruiting, talent acquisition, employee relations, project management, analytics and growing the talent, culture and capability of an organization.
Previously she was the Sr. Director of Global Diversity & Engagement at PepsiCo leading the Global Women’s Agenda. In this position Monique played a key role as a cultural architect linking key stakeholders to broader business priorities, with a goal of amplifying traditionally marginalized cohorts in her company and communities. She also played a key role in shifting the image of leadership at all levels across the enterprise.
Prior to her last role at PepsiCo, Monique has held various HR business partner roles of increasing responsibility in the Frito-Lay US division.
Monique holds a Master’s of Science degree in Public Policy & Management from Carnegie Mellon University and Bachelor’s degree in Urban Studies and Politics from New York University.
