Mirian Graddick-Weir was Executive Vice President, Human Resources of Merck & Co., Inc. from 2008 to 2018.
In that role, Graddick-Weir had responsibility for all aspects of human resources for Merck’s colleagues worldwide.
Graddick-Weir also was Senior Vice President of Human Resources from 2006 until 2008. During her tenure at Merck, she was instrumental in leading global and transformational change across the business and the human resources function.
Previously, Dr. Graddick-Weir held various executive positions throughout her career with AT&T Corp., which began in 1981. She was EVP of Human Resources and Employee Communications from 2004 to 2006 and served as its EVP of Human Resources from 1999 to 2004.
Graddick-Weir holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Hampton University, and a Master’s degree and Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Penn State.
