Milton Carroll is Executive Chairman of the Board for CenterPoint Energy, Inc., a major domestic energy delivery company that includes electric transmission and distribution, natural gas distribution and competitive natural gas sales. Headquartered in Houston, CenterPoint serves more than five million metered customers.
Carroll is also Chairman of the Board of Health Care Service Corporation which is a non-investor owned mutual insurance company. Carroll is a seasoned executive with expertise in the energy and utilities industries.
Carroll is the Founder and Chairman of Instrument Products, Inc., a Houston based company that specializes in manufacturing oil field equipment. Carroll is a former Commissioner of the Port of Houston Authority.
Carroll has a number of civic and community involvements including previously serving as Chairman of the Board of the Houston Endowment.
Carroll holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology from Texas Southern University.
