Mike Triplett serves as President of Cigna’s U.S. Commercial businesses. He leads the company’s U.S. integrated medical business market strategy, sales, specialty product distribution, and local community engagement initiatives. In this role, Triplett is responsible for commercial business growth. He also leads Cigna’s network partnerships and performance initiatives, driving Cigna’s work with local hospitals, health care facilities and physicians to improve affordability, enhance quality and enable a simpler, more personalized customer experience.
Since joining Cigna in 1998, Triplett has held various leadership and management positions. Prior to his current role, he was President of U.S. Markets, also having served as President of Regional Segment, Payer Solutions and Government & Taft- Hartley.
Triplett is active on the National Corporate Council for the National Forum for Black Public Administrators. During his career, he has been involved in communities across the U.S., including working with the Chesterfield, Virginia Public Foundation, the University of Memphis Athletic Foundation, the Miami Foundation for New Education Initiatives, the American Red Cross, and the National Civil Rights Museum.
Triplett graduated with honors from South Carolina State University with a B.S. in Business Administration and Finance.
