Melanie Sims Frank is the Vice President, Assistant General Counsel and Assistant Secretary for Panavision International, L.P., a diverse motion picture equipment rental and technology company specializing in cameras, lenses, lighting and accessories to support the film and television industries.
In this role, Frank has oversight responsibility for all legal matters affecting the company’s global business which consists of more than 65 offices in 11 different countries worldwide.
Prior to her current role, Frank held increasingly responsible leadership roles at TVG Network and Gemstar-TV Guide International Inc. where she counseled and advised executive and management teams on a broad range of legal matters.
In 2012, Frank received a “Top 10 Deputy General Counsel” award from the Daily Journal and was a featured corporate counsel in 2011.
Frank served as President of Southern California’s largest in-house counsel bar association, the Association of Corporate Counsel, and currently serves as a Board member.
Frank holds a Juris Doctor from Howard University School of Law and a Bachelor’s degree from the City University of New York.
