Marcus Ranger is Senior Franchise Field Vice President for the Southern California independent advisor business at Ameriprise Financial. In his role, he leads a business unit consisting of 330 franchise advisors who provide wealth management and financial services for individuals, businesses and institutional clients. He is responsible for strategy, business development, growth and retention.

 

Ranger has been a recipient of the Ameriprise Circle of Success Award and the LA Metro/Central Coast Leader of the Year Award. He also served on the Board of the Financial Planning Association of Los Angeles, was an inaugural board member of the Financial Planning Association of California and served as a member of the UCLA Professional Financial Planning Executive Advisory Board.

 

Early in his career, Ranger earned the rank of Captain in the U.S. Air Force, where he acted as the lead negotiator for a $300 million satellite program at the Space and Missiles Systems Center, Los Angeles Air Force Base.

 

Ranger holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the United States Air Force Academy, where he played college football and won a Western Athletic Conference championship. He earned his Master’s in Business Administration from Loyola Marymount University with a double emphasis in Entrepreneurship and Finance.
