Marc Walters is Corporate Vice President and Deputy General Counsel of Microsoft’s Corporate, External and Legal Affairs (CELA) department.
Walters leads a legal team supporting Microsoft’s product marketing, commercial licensing, consumer sales (including online, and digital app stores), as well as the Company’s central branding units.
Walters’ team supports the launches of groundbreaking new products and services, including Windows 11, Surface, Gaming, and the One Microsoft Cloud, drives innovation and technology that improves productivity and a way of life for its consumers and commercial customers, and landed strategies that have driven growth for the company and our partners.
Walters’ decade-long career at Microsoft includes supporting the Company’s consumer sales, commercial business at the cusp of its cloud and digital transformation initiatives, enterprise services, small and mid-market segments, and global partner organization.
Walters served as Board Member for the Urban League of Metropolitan Seattle.
Walters received both his Juris Doctor degree and his undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
