Lisa W. Wardell is the former Executive Chairman of Adtalem Global Education, Inc., a position she held from 2021 to 2022. Prior to that Ms. Wardell was the Chairman and CEO of Adtalem Global Education, Inc. from 2016 to 2021.
From 2004 to 2016, Wardell was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for The RLJ Companies, a diversified holding company with portfolio companies in the financial services, asset management, real estate, hospitality, professional sports, film production and gaming industries.
Wardell is currently a member of the Business Council and the Executive Leadership Council. Previously, she served on the boards of Lowe’s Companies, G-lll Apparel Group, Ltd and Adtalem Global Education, Inc.
Wardell received her Bachelor of Arts from Vassar College, her Juris Doctor from Stanford University and her Master of Business Administration from the University of Pennsylvania.
