Linda Johnson is the Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Food Lion, a company of Ahold Delhaize USA. In her role, she is responsible for developing and executing the human resources and people strategies in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization. Specifically, she and her team are responsible for the areas of succession planning, talent management, associate engagement, change management, organizational development, performance management, training and development, diversity and inclusion, associate relations and internal communications.
Linda joined the company in 2013 from Supervalu Inc., where she had served most recently as the Vice President -Talent Management, Diversity and Inclusion and Chief Diversity Officer.
Linda is an advisor to the Food Lion Diversity & Inclusion Council and has previously served on the NAAAHR-Minnesota Advisory Board, Norfolk State University Cluster and Past Board Chair, and the National Board of Directors of the Network of Executive Women (NEW).
Linda received the 2003 Outstanding Professional Woman award from The Business Community of Hampton Roads Virginia and was featured in Savoy magazine in 2013 for her work as the Chief Diversity Officer at Supervalu.
