Lauren M. Scott is a Global Marketing Director at Diageo, the world’s largest premium drinks company.

In this role, Scott’s responsibilities include leading strategy, development and implementation of innovation and marketing initiatives across the world.

Prior to joining Diageo, Scott spent 13-years at the beverage division of PepsiCo in a variety of marketing roles including brand management on the Diet Pepsi and SoBe businesses as well as foodservice innovation, field marketing, national promotions and cultural branding. She orchestrated and developed the award-winning program Pepsi We Inspire, the first digital-based campaign targeted to African-American women in the company’s history. Scott began her consumer products career as an Inroads intern and full-time hire in sales at Colgate-Palmolive.

Scott also actively mentors, coaches and serves on talent recruitment teams and holds leadership roles in women and diversity employee resource groups and her church’s board.

Scott holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Rutgers University and an MBA from University of Maryland, and a Master of Science in Strategic Communication from Columbia University.
