Laurel J. Richie was President of the Women’s National Basketball Association, LLC (WNBA). In this role, Richie led the WNBA from 2011 to 2015.
Prior to her appointment, Richie was the Chief Marketing Officer at the Girls Scouts of the United States of America from 2008 to 2011.
Richie held several positions at Ogilvy & Mather, including Senior Partner and Executive Group Director and Founding Member of its Diversity Advisory.
Richie was named as a Charter Trustee of Dartmouth College in 2012, and currently serves as Board Vice Chair and Chairman of the Communications Committee.
Richie also is a Trustee of the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame. Richie was named one of the “25 Most Influential Women in Business” by The Network Journal and is a recipient of the “YMCA Black Achievers in Industry Award.”
Richie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Policy Studies from Dartmouth College.
