Kitty Chaney Reed serves as Chief Leadership, Culture & Inclusion Officer for IBM.

In this role, Kitty fuses all aspects of IBM leadership to cultivate a culture of conscious inclusion for driving business growth.

Kitty is IBM’s Senior State Executive for Georgia. She serves on IBM’s Black Executive Council and was executive sponsor supporting the passage of the 2020 Anti-Hate Crime Legislation. She represents IBM in government policy forums including the Atlanta Metro Chamber.

Kitty joined IBM in 2017, sharing her forward-thinking expertise across client services, solution design and implementation, service delivery and operations to challenge everyone to redefine what BEST looks like.

Previously, Kitty was COO for IBM Marketing. Earlier, as Enterprise Operations Leader, she was responsible for driving sales and business operations transformation across all IBM business units by modernizing tools and processes. As Vice-President Quote-to-Cash, she led the transformation of the operating model for IBM Americas.

Kitty has received the 2021 Stevie Award for ‘Female Executive of the Year’ and a Globee Business Award in the ‘Women of the Year’ category.

Kitty holds a B.A. in Business Administration and Finance from Clark-Atlanta University.
