Kim Newton is the Vice President of Consumer Experience at Hallmark, a global company with a diversified portfolio of businesses, including Hallmark Greetings, Hallmark Gold Crown stores, Crayola and Crown Media Family Networks.


In her role, Newton is charged with enhancing the consumer experience with the Hallmark brand. By partnering with and influencing across all businesses, Newton shepherds a future-focused unified consumer experience vision and strategy. She drives a portfolio of cross-brand initiatives focused on consumer data, loyalty, voice of the consumer, digital and several direct-to-consumer experiences, including Hallmark Baby.


Newton has more than 20 years of experience in commercialization with expertise in consumer experience, strategic planning, enterprise transformation, new business development and multiple aspects of consumer marketing.


Newton has 20 years of non-profit board experience. She is a Henry Crown Fellow within the Aspen Global Leadership Network at the Aspen Institute, a member of The Executive Leadership Council, The Links, Inc. and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.


Newton holds a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Accounting from Fisk University and an MBA from Vanderbilt University.
