Kijsa J. Phillips serves as Deputy General Counsel, M&A, Strategy, and Venture Capital, at The Kraft Heinz Company.
In this role, Phillips is responsible for leading the global legal team that provides critical support to the M&A, M&A Execution, and Venture Capital teams. During her time at Kraft Heinz, her scope has also included leading legal support for the Company’s Procurement, Real Estate, Environmental, and Occupational Risk Management functions.
Phillips has had broad exposure to a variety of practice areas including M&A, private equity, supply chain contracts, fund formation, aviation law, and general commercial matters.
In addition to the CPG industry, she previously worked in the pharmaceutical space as in-house M&A counsel at Abbott Laboratories and in real estate investment management, having begun her career at Jones Lang LaSalle / LaSalle Investment Management.
Phillips serves on the Board of Directors for the Kraft Heinz Women’s Empowerment Network. In 2023 she was named a Seramount Working Parent of the Year.
Phillips received her A.B. from Harvard University, her J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, and her MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
