Kevin E. Lofton served as Chief Executive Officer of CommonSpirit Health.
In this role, Lofton set the strategic direction for advocacy, compliance, governance, international business, IT, legal, philanthropy, and system partnerships for one of the largest health systems in the nation with 150,000 employees across 21 states.
Lofton has been a life-long champion for health equity and healthy communities throughout his distinguished career in public, university, community, and faith-based health systems.
In 2007, Lofton chaired the board of trustees of the American Hospital Association (AHA), the nation’s largest hospital trade association, where he was instrumental in creating their Equity of Care Initiative to address disparities in care for ethnic and racial minorities.
Lofton holds a Master’s degree in Health Administration from the GSU Robinson College of Business in Atlanta and a Bachelor’s degree in Science in Business Administration from the Boston University Questrom School of Business.
